IMPORTANT
Road Construction Changes
There is a significant change to the ongoing roadwork on Providence Road - they will now be working at night, Monday - Thursday from 7pm - 5am . That means everything meeting during the day and on weekends should have normal access to the church, but Mon.-Thurs. evening programs, including Wednesday Night, will have limited access to the front church entrance after 7pm from now through early 2027.
- Construction Zone - Providence Road (252) between W. Rose Valley Road and Chester Road
- Construction Hours - Mon-Thurs. from 7pm - 5am
- Current Work - North of the church, toward Rose Valley Road, so it is not possible to access Providence Road to the north of the church during construction hours
- Additional Work - There is some additional work right now north of Rose Valley Road up close to the High School. So that stretch of road may also be closed or have limited access.
- Best Access to Grace During Construction Hours -
If traveling from the Brookhaven/Garden City area, travel through the back neighborhood and use the back entrance to the church.
If traveling from Media, you will want to either use Brookhaven Rd to enter through the back neighborhood, or use 320 to Providence Rd . When turning onto Providence Rd from 320, the right turning lane may be completely blocked, however, the center lanes are open so you are still able to make a sharp right turn.
If traveling from Chester/Bullens Ln, you should not have any issues arriving at church. When you turn left onto Providence Rd (off of Providence Ave/320) the center lanes should be clear and notify that St. John's is still accessible, which means that we are accessible from that direction as well!
Note: If there happens to be a flagman at the entrance to Providence Road, tell them you need access to Grace Church / St. John's and they should let you through. - Sunday Access - should NOT be affected!
- MAP - see map below for access to Grace during current phase of construction
Questions can be directed to Pastor Mark.
Additional Instructions for Sunday
This Sunday is the Joint Worship with JuAhn at our normal 10am start time. Service will be in both English and Korean, led by Pastor Aaron Susek and Pastor Young Park.
There is a light lunch after Worship. Some instructions for the lunch
- If able, please bring Sandwiches, Sides or Desserts (If you can not make something to bring, don't worry, please come anyway!)
- Everything should be fully prepared before you come - please do not bring anything that needs to be heated up, or that needs to be assembled in line (for example, do not bring a lunchmeat tray or crock-pot of sloppy joe, instead bring fully made ham and cheese sandwich)
- It would help if you could cut sandwiches or desserts prior to arrival
- Please bring all food to the gym upon arrival at Grace, and wait for someone to take it from you and label it
- Let them know if the dish needs to be refrigerated
- Members of JuAhn plan to provide Sushi and a Korean Noodle Soup
- Grace will provide drinks
- PARENTS: Please keep children with you or nearby where you can keep an eye on them. Please keep all children in the gym, they are not allowed to roam the halls.
