I hope that this e-mail finds you well, enjoying this spectacular weather. I have a quick reminder for you to **read if you attend on Sunday mornings:** children in elementary school and younger should be supervised by parents in the gym after our Sunday service. Parents should head down to the gym with their children as *soon* as the service is done and have their conversations there so that their children are not left unsupervised. I am "off the clock" during that time so that I am able to connect with other congregation members as well and I can't be expected to supervise your children or step in when different situations arise. We have a new craft, coloring books, Legos, gaga ball, and other sports equipment set out every week to make it a fun (but safe) time for all ages, and to give you the opportunity to talk to others while your children play. Also, **please remind your children** to only run around or play with the sports equipment on the appropriate side of the gym and redirect them if/when they forget. **Here's important things you can find in this e-mail:** 1. They'll have free hayrides, zip line pumpkin chunkin (how amazing is that!?), s'mores, crafts and other activities. It's about an hour away, but they make the trip worth it! Plus, it's a great opportunity for your family to check out this incredible camp that our BFC denomination has the great privilege of owning. Questions? Plus we *have* to make s'mores. The next morning we will have breakfast and play games at the camp until students are picked up. **Where will we sleep?** We will sleep in the dorm (Beacon Hall) which has bunk beds and bathrooms within the same building. **Where is drop off/pick up?** Students should be dropped off and picked up directly at the camp. Feel free to carpool or let me know if this is a hardship and I can try to help arrange transportation. **Can my child go up late on Friday night or get picked up early?** YES! We will be at the camp the entire time, so feel free to drop off late or pick up early. Just let me know beforehand so that we can be prepared. **How much does the FULL weekend cost?** The cost of the retreat is $5 per student, if you are able. **Is there dinner on Friday night?** YES!
