She is seeking the Lord for direction as to where to serve and with whom to serve. She has been accepted to attend WorldTeam's Candidate Week from **July 18 - 24**. Pray God makes it clear where He is calling her to serve. - **Summer Teams** ~ Continue to pray for Summer Camp Staff. --- ![](https://churchusercontent.com/cd65c94c-6f2f-4a4e-9784-d5d440efa78b/18_2026-07-17T16-21-46-213Z.jpg) ### **Elizabeth Piasecki - NEW Grace Missionary** Elizabeth has been a part of Grace Church her entire life. Since graduating from Cedarville University in 2024, she has been seeking the Lord about the possibility of serving overseas as a full-time missionary. Over the last two years, she has taught full-time at The Christian Academy, including helping with two overseas trips with students. She has been an active part of church life here at Grace. She has also been in regular contact with Carolyn Moyer, one of our long-term missionaries in France. The missions committee and the Elders of Grace have affirmed Elizabeth's call and qualifications to serve. She is now seeking where God would send her. **Here is an excerpt from Elizabeth's recent prayer letter:** Back in April, I applied to serve with the missions agency World Team. They are a global, non-denominational organization that equips and sends church-planting teams to serve among unreached people groups. They focus on preparing long-term workers for ministry around the world, including opportunities in the Americas, Africa, Europe, Asia, and Australia. After reviewing my application, they invited me to attend RACE (Reciprocal Assessment and Candidate Evaluation). I will be attending this week-long assessment beginning July 18 at their headquarters in Warrington, Pennsylvania. Here are some specific ways you can pray for me as I take this next step toward my goal of serving as an overseas missionary: **RACE Specific Prayer Requests** - That the Lord would make it clear whether World Team is the right organization for me to partner with. - That I would think clearly and answer questions well during the interview portions of the week. - That my mind and body would handle the demanding week of interviews, simulations, and social interaction well. - For safety as I travel between my home, my host family’s home, and World Team’s headquarters throughout the week. **General Prayer Requests** - For continued spiritual growth and a deepening joy in the Lord. - For even more opportunities for gospel witness and discipling. - For meaningful, quality time with friends and family while I am still in the United States. - For my upcoming school year, I plan to teach Spanish part-time so that I can begin shifting more of my time and energy toward preparing for missions. Thank you so much for your prayers and encouragement. I am incredibly grateful for the ways you have supported me as I pursue the calling the Lord has placed on my life. Please feel free to reach out if you have any questions or want to hear more about what the Lord is doing in my life.
