STEAM Camp ~ July 27-31
Our annual S.T.E.A.M. (science, technology, engineering, arts & math) themed day camp starts next Monday! Elementary-aged children will enjoy interactive classes taught by biblically minded teachers with professional experience in science & education. Each day will include experiments, crafts, gym games, and a snack. About a dozen middle school and high school students will be participating in an "at home" missions trip this week as well. Teens will be helping with STEAM Camp during the day and then doing other service projects in the evening, staying overnight at Chester Heights Camp Meeting throughout the week.
For Prayer
Adult Staff
- Pray for each of our teachers as they have a unique opportunity to teach these subjects from a Christian perspective.
- Pray that the content will point to the Creator who is magnified through His creation.
- Pray for all the helpers to have meaningful engagement with the children and each other, that every conversation would be life-giving and glorifying to God.
- Pray for Fuzzy as he oversees the day camp and teen missions trip that he would have energy, wisdom, and patience.
Teen Staff
- Pray that they would have spirits that are eager to serve.
- Patience with the students each day and each other at night
- Energy throughout the week and the sleep needed to sustain that energy
- Ultimately, pray that God would use this week to increase their spiritual growth and maturity.
The Children
- Pray for those who attend, that they would have a fun and safe experience.
- Pray that they understand God more as a result of learning about His creation.
Summer Camp Staff
Continue to pray for Rachel, CC, and Noah Kessler as they wrap up day camp at Camp Promise and return home. Continue to pray for all our Summer Camp Staff. Also, pray for Gabe Sauve as he raises up a support team for his internship with the Navigators.
